Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets,
that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for
an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it
will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it
will surely come, it will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:2-3
One important part of this great journey in your Christian life is to discover the purpose and direction God wants you to take.
He has an amazing destiny for you! This means you will need to cultivate spiritual vision. A vision is like a blueprint for your future. It’s the ability to see what’s ahead and make plans for it.
Proverbs 29:18 says that without a vision people will perish. This means you really need to seek the Lord and pray about the path you’re on. God is a gracious Father and will always give you wisdom about the decisions you’re making. (James 1:5)
God gave us Pentecost on His divine calendar so that we would have the power of the Holy Spirit working within our spirit and soul.
Every year at this time, He ordains a fresh outpouring of divine guidance and supernatural
discernment. Jesus said, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” (John 16:13)
Let me encourage you to set aside some special moments in the days ahead to hear what the Lord is saying. Be sure to listen closely and write down everything you hear in your heart. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
As you seek the Lord, He will put His desires in your heart that contain your unique dreams, goals and visions!

Heavenly Father, I give You all the praise and glory today. For opening the eyes of my understanding and allowing me to see the hope of my calling and destiny. Thank You for filling me with a fresh anointing of wisdom, spiritual vision and discernment so that I will walk into every single God-given purpose for my life! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
