Yesterday we recognized the importance of team-work. There is great power when partnering with like-minded believers.
God’s goal for the body of Christ is living in unity and giving one another encouragement. We must avoid words that create discord, strife and confusion in our family and in the church. The apostle Paul addressed this in 2 Corinthians 12:20. The church was not behaving as it should as the body of Christ.
Paul was concerned he would find the church full of fighting, jealousy, selfish ambition, back-biting and gossip — lashon hora (evil tongue).
This is still a concern in today’s church. The enemy is trying to divide us and a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.
Your part is to guard the body of Christ by speaking positive, faith-filled words. This positions you, and
others, to experience salvation, healing, prosperity and unity.
Today’s Prayer:
Father, right now I break every curse and every negative seed that I have sown. I release every blessing You intended. I put a guard on my mouth and pray that from now on I will use my words only for building people up and not tearing them down. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
