Day 1: A Revelation That Will Change Your Life!

“…it is your Father’s good pleasure

to give you the kingdom.”

Luke 12:32

Next to accepting Jesus as the Messiah, Lord and Savior of my life, the greatest revelation I’ve ever received was when Tiz and I were pastoring in Australia in the late 70’s. God said to me “Larry, I want you to tell the world that I am a good God!” This absolutely changed my life!

This revelation is the foundation for our 50 day devotional. It is actually a journey based on something very special out of Leviticus 23. God told the Israelites to count 50 days on their journey out of Egypt to Mt. Sinai. They would only be successful by changing from a slave mentality to a child of the King mindset. The Lord’s plan was not only to take Israel out of Egypt… but also to take Egypt out of Israel. This is true for you today.

As you go through this journey, Tiz and I want you to be inspired to think about God as a gracious Father. One who loves to bless His children. We want you to understand that our Father will never leave you or forsake you. He is a God of love and wants to bless you with His amazing grace, mercy, peace and joy!

Realizing God is a GOOD God will start you on the path to “becoming a better you.” It changed our lives and we’re sure it will change your life too!

Father, I thank You that You are a good God and a gracious Father. I honor You as the King of kings and the Lord of lords. I thank You that it’s Your good pleasure to bring Your Kingdom into my life. I am looking forward to Your wisdom and guidance in these next 50 days as You help me become everything You want me to be. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
