“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth . . .”
Ephesians 6:14
Jesus is the living truth, His Word is truth and He wants to anchor you in the truth. (John 17:17) That’s why it’s so important that you not only spend time in the Word, but you also let it saturate your mind and heart.
Once you know the truth, you can’t be deceived and you will have a ready defense against the attacks of the enemy. When Jesus defeated Satan in the wilderness, His weapon was the Word of God!
The enemy is trying to shake your confidence and bring fear. Remind yourself that God has given you a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
If the enemy is trying to make you give up, remind yourself that you can do all things through Christ Who gives you strength. (Philippians 4:13)
No matter what you may be facing right now, do not worry. The scriptures are filled with
God’s promises for protection, blessing and victory in your life. Your job is to stockpile the Word in your heart and build up your personal arsenal of truth.
Remember, it is the truth you KNOW AND UNDERSTAND that will set you FREE!

Lord, I want to praise You today that You are Almighty God in my life. You have equipped me with powerful spiritual armor. Thank You for Your promise of victory over every enemy and every obstacle that I face. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
