God wants you filled with peace. This is possible because He is Jehovah Shalom – the God Who fills us with His Peace.

Literally, the Hebrew translation of Jehovah Shalom is “The Lord is peace.” (Judges 6:24) When God fills you with peace, He is really filling you with Himself – with His Presence. Why does God’s Presence give you such peace? Because He is also love, and perfect love drives out all fear.

In a world of uncertainty and chaos when you are faced with anxiety or stress, you draw your peace from God. No matter what challenges you face with your relationships, health or finances, you can have the peace and confidence that God is going to work everything out. The Apostle Peter encourages you saying, you can cast your care upon the Lord because He cares for you! (1 Peter 5:7)

In order to become a better you, you have to stop living with fear and worry. Your Father has you in the palm of His hand. He is Jehovah Shalom, and He will fill you with peace that surpasses all understanding!
